Tom Grennan will headline Dreamland in Margate this August with support from Alfie Templeman

Singer-songwriter Tom Grennan will be blasting out his biggest hits with an incredible summer concert by the sea.

Dreamland, Margate’s outdoor vintage funfair and music venue, is rounding off its string of spectacular summer concerts with a show-stopping headline set from the singer on the outdoor Scenic Stage.

The coastal venue has seen huge artists such as Simply Red, Noel Gallagher, Sugababes, Craig David and Paul Weller grace its stage over the past couple of months.

Over the weekend, Tom Grennan and DJ Yoda, who will be performing a Stranger Things-themed set the following evening, will be finishing up the summer series.

The Bedford-born singer initially pursued a football career before becoming a musician and has played multiple times in the celebrity charity football match Soccer Aid. However, he eventually released his debut single, Something in the Water, in 2016.

His breakthrough came when he appeared on the Chase and Status track When It All Goes Wrong as a guest vocalist.

Since then, Tom Grennan has gone on to release a number of hit singles, including Little Bit of Love from his Number 1 album, Evering Road.

After the release of Evering Road in 2021, the singer received two BRIT Award nominations for Song of the Year and Best Rock/Alternative Act.

The chart-topper will be supported at in Margate by singer-songwriter Alfie Templeman - who like Tom comes from Bedfordshire.

Nineteen-year-old Alfie taught himself to play 10 instruments at an early age and was included on the longlist for BBC Music Sound of 2021.

Since then he has released various singles plus his debut album Mellow Moon earlier this summer.

Tom Grennan will be at Dreamland in Margate on Saturday, August 27.
