POLICE investigating the multi-million pound raid at a Securitas depot in Tonbridge are keen to trace the movements of what is thought to be a former Parcelforce van.

The vehicle, found abandoned at the Hook and Hatchet pub in the village of Hucking, may have been used during the abduction of the depot manager, his wife and eight-year-old son.

Detectives are keen to talk to anyone who saw the van in the area on Tuesday evening or the early hours of Wednesday.

Assistant Chief Constable Adrian Leppard said: "If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in or near a van that fits this description, please contact our incident room on 01622 652361 or 01622 652366."
