Taco Bell is part of Yum! Brands, Inc. which also owns Pizza Hut and KFC.

It was founded by Glen Bell in 1962 and now has 7,000 restaurants in the United States and 400 more across the world.

The chain offers Mexican-inspired classics such as burritos, nachos, quesadillas and, of course, tacos.

The company already has branches in Chatham, Crayford, Dover and Maidstone, and the most recent opening was in Folkestone this month.

The company is still recruiting staff for the Tonbridge establishment and no opening date has yet been set.
