Three people have been rescued from a beach after getting cut off by the tide.
Crews from HM Coastguard Margate and RNLI Margate Inshore Lifeboat were called to a report of people stuck by the Captain Digby in Kingsgate, near Broadstairs, on Sunday.
A coastguard spokesman said the three were found "extremely cold but otherwise ok".
"On arrival the team could see the three people and immediately put two officers in dry suits in case the Lifeboat was unable to get to them due to the rocks.
"The Lifeboat arrived and skilfully made their way to the beach to evacuate them to the boat and take them back to the awaiting coastguard officers.
"They were taken to safety, they were extremely cold but otherwise ok."
Safety advice was given to the group.
"It is really important if you are going to the beach to check out the tide times," the coastguard added.
In a coastal emergency dial 999 and ask for the coastguard.
