Air ambulance helicopter circles above Ramsgate and lands in Chatham House Grammar School as officers attend non-suspicious death

Emergency crews including the air ambulance were called out this morning, but a man died.

The helicopter was spotted circling above Ramsgate as officers descended on the area just after 9am.

The chopper reportedly hovered above the town for several minutes before landing three times and finally settling in the grounds of Chatham House Grammar School.

Patrol cars were also seen outside Ellington Park.

Police later confirmed they had been called to a non-suspicious death.

A spokesman said: "We were called at 9.14am to a sudden death in a residential premises in the High Street, Ramsgate. The deceased is a man in his 30s."
