Ireland's favourites, The Fureys, come to the Granville

The Fureys and Davey Arthur celebrated their 30th anniversary last year with the release of a 'live in concert’ DVD and CD.

They continue to play around the world where they bring their music, songs and stories to generations who have enjoyed them over the years.

Their audiences have included former Australian Prime Minister John Howard, President of Ireland Mary McAleese and the late Pope John Paul. Tony Blair says his favourite peace song of all time is The Fureys' Green Fields of France.

Thanet fans get their chance to see the Irish musicians in action at the Granville Theatre, Ramsgate, on Saturday, March 21, from 7.30pm. Tickets are £15.
