House fire in Minster caused by dishwasher

A person was treated by medics for breathing in too much smoke after a house fire broke out.

Firefighters and ambulance crews were called to Petts Crescent in Minster at around 7.30pm yesterday.

The blaze, which started in a dishwasher, was out by the time they arrived.

The casualty was given oxygen therapy.
