Air display grounded by bad weather

A major air display to mark the 90th anniversary of the RAF was today cancelled due to bad weather.

The world-renowned flying team The Red Arrows and a Kent Spitfire plane were among the attractions due at the bank holiday event.

It was to take place at the Battle of Britain airfield in Maston, Thanet.

Organisers have said the display will now go ahead in September this year.
