Goalkeeper Adam Molloy is staying at Sittingbourne.
Molloy wanted to keep his options over the summer but has decided to spend a fourth season with the Brickies.
Assistant boss Tony Cornwell said: “Adam’s definitely staying and we’re also looking at another keeper.
“He’s let us know over the last few days and it’s good to have him because he’s a quality keeper. He’s a crowd favourite as well – he’s always had the supporters behind him.”
Cornwell and manager Nick Davis are set to meet on Wednesday to finalise Brickies’ squad for the new Ryman League Division 1 South season.
There are some big decisions to make ahead of the opening match at Herne Bay on
August 8.
Cornwell said: “We’ve got 24 players at the moment, which is far too many. I know we have a couple missing at the start of the season but ideally you want a squad of 18 or 19."
Brickies host Great Wakering on Saturday (1pm) in their final pre-season friendly. On Tuesday they lost 5-0 to Erith & Belvedere and last Saturday Jake Beecroft earned a 1-1 draw against Tunbridge Wells.
