Teenager arrested after daylight police chase through Sittingbourne

A teenager has been arrested after a daylight police chase through Sittingbourne.

The 18-year-old suspect was arrested for various driving offences following a police pursuit, starting in Grovehurst Road, at 12.10pm yesterday.

The chase began after the driver of a blue Mazda refused to stop when ordered by police to pull over.

It ended when both of the cars collided in Satis Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

Police say enquiries are ongoing and the teenager, from Sittingbourne, has been bailed until March 13.
