Christmas lights in Sittingbourne in aid of RSPCA and Time 4 Homeless

Crowds of people have flocked to see an annual free light display which this year is boasting its biggest show ever.

Trevor Arnold has adorned his bungalow in Cheney Hill, Sittingbourne with 72 individual lights sets covering the entire front.

He said: "I use social media to let the local neighbourhood know and hundreds maybe thousands of people stop by.

"Despite the cold snowy weather, scores of people attend and some came inside to enjoy mulled wine."

It is his latest effort of a tradition in which he lights his home in aid of chosen charities with this year's being Time 4 Homeless and the RSPCA.

The lights were switched on on Sunday, December 11 and will remain on until January 2 when a second event will be held when a Maypole Bells mini-ring will be running demonstrations, if weather permits.
