Murder arrest after man dies on Isle of Sheppey

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 35-year-old.

Police were called at around 9.40am yesterday, to an address in Fourth Avenue by Eastchurch Holiday Centre, Sheppey.

Ambulance crews also attended, and a man was declared deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

At around 1pm on the same day, a man in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody.

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are now appealing for dashcam footage which may show the movements of any people or vehicles in the Warden Road and Fourth Avenue areas. They are particularly interested in footage between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, on Saturday, June 10.
