Fifteen motorcyclists could be seen touring the Island on their annual Easter run to deliver chocolate eggs to various good causes.

The bikers, who are all members of the Associated Sheppey Bikers, went round children’s homes all over Sheppey on Easter Sunday to deliver Easter eggs to them.

Among the motorcyclists was the Easter bunny, also known as the club’s youngest member, 13-year-old Marc Magri.

The bikers left Layzell’s in the Broadway, Minster at 10am before making their way to Preston Skreens in Minster at 10.15am.

The Mount in Sheerness was the next stop at 10.45am followed by Neptune House in Sheerness at 11.15am and the Little Oyster in Minster at midday.

The bikers then headed back to Layzell’s.

Tyrone Bland, founder member of the Sheppey Bikers, said: “It went really well – the weather was with us so we were lucky.

“There were a lot of youngsters out waving at us as we went past.

“We always get a warm welcome.”
