WHEN Geoff Darrington decided he needed a second home, Kent-based housebuilders PPH were able to help. Mr Darrington had decided to retire to the South of France but he wanted to keep a home in England - one that was easy to maintain and secure, ensuring peace of mind while he was abroad.

Not only is my new home secure and easy to maintain, it it also close to the local shops and more importantly, my friends and relations. Now I can just concentrate on looking forward to relaxing in France with a beer on veranda." As Mr Darrington bought his home at an early stage, he was able personalise his home. His commissioned a kitchen designer to design his kitchen and the bathroom and is adding glass bricks to his utility room to allow natural light to flood the room.
