Bikers' special Easter mission

HUNDREDS of bikers are preparing their machines for a round trip delivering Easter eggs to children with special needs.

The annual Egg Run will take place on Sunday, April 6, and the bikers will meet between 1pm and 1.45pm at the Gorrell Tank car park, Whitstable.

The convoy will travel through Tankerton, Herne Bay, St Nicholas at Wade, Sarre, Sturry and on to the Orchard School in Canterbury. Organiser Andy Wade said he hoped many people would turn out to support them.

Co-organiser Anita Trotter, who works with the children at Orchard School, said: "We do our best to help these very special children and it is great to see so much happiness brought to them by the bikers each year."

Any size bike would be welcomed on the day and riders should bring an Easter egg to give to the children.
