Cricketing legend Sir Ian Botham was joined by fellow fundraisers as he completed a six-mile walk from Tunbridge Wells to raise money for leukaemia research.

The famous all-rounder allowed members of the public who had raised enough sponsorship to join him for part of the walk around Penshurst Place.

Sir Ian is doing a series of the walks around the country to raise money for the charity, which he has supported since visiting teenagers in a Taunton hospital during his playing career.

He was cheered on his way by shoppers in the town.
