Arsenal have been linked with a move for Gillingham keeper Tomas Holy

A host of top-flight clubs have been linked with a move for Gillingham goalkeeper Tomas Holy.

Arsenal are the latest side to have been mentioned, along with the likes of West Ham and Crystal Palace, but there are no confirmed bids and manager Steve Lovell doesn’t want him going anywhere.

He said: “There is a bit of speculation out there but Tomas just has got to continue doing what he is doing here. He is improving but there is a lot more to come out of him.

“I just want Tomas to concentrate on what he is doing here and if he does that then he is going to be a massive plus for us.

“I don’t want him to go anywhere, I want him to stay here, that is all I am interested in. All of that speculation is just papers, they can do what they like.

“He is not going anywhere, he is staying here.”

Holy, 26, joined the Gills in January 2017 on a free transfer following his exit from Sparta Prague. The 6’ 9” stopper managed to edge out fans' favourite Stuart Nelson for the no.1 jersey and has made 51 league appearances.
