Wilmington: Police arrest two 16-year-olds following disturbance in Martin Road

Police attended a residential street after a large number of people were in the road causing havoc.

They attended Martin Road, Wilmington at 9.20pm last night.

They arrested two 16-year-old boys.

One was arrested on suspicion of robbery and the other was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.

Both are currently in custody.

Police spokesman Sally Smith said: "During the incident a vehicle was reported to have been stolen, it was located a short time later near a service station on the A225.

"Enquiries into the incident are continuing."
