Serious accident shuts A229 City Way in Rochester

A busy road has been closed in both directions due to a serious accident.

The crash, which is believed to involve two vehicles, happened just after midnight on the A229 City Way, Rochester.

Officers are conducting investigation work this morning between Old Pattens Lane and Pattens Lane.

Police have been approached for more information.
