A woman has been charged after a car ended up on its roof in Gillingham.

Police were called to the roundabout at the junction of the A2 and Will Adams Way, opposite the Honourable Pilot pub, at about 3.15am on Sunday.

Trilbie Pascall, 38, of Dorset Square, Rainham, was arrested at the scene and later charged with failure to provide a breath specimen, driving while disqualified and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

She has been bailed to appear before magistrates on September 10.

The car and the damaged railing were cordoned off by police until the vehicle was recovered earlier today.
