Police appeal after medication is stolen in Rochester

Police have appealed for information after a bag containing medication was stolen from outside a house.

The theft happened some time between 5.15pm on March 15 and 7.30am on March 16, in St Margaret's Street, Rochester.

The 63-year-old victim returned home and mistakenly left the bag on the pavement when he got it out of his car boot and went into his house for the night.

The black leather overnight bag contained clothing and medication including: Metoprolol, Irbesartan, Amlodipine, Lansoprazole, Clopidogrel, Ezetrol and Lipitor.

PC Jonathon Ridgeway said: "We would appeal for anyone who knows what happened to this bag to get in touch with us. It is important that the drugs are traced and that the culprit is found.

"Anyone with information or who may have witnessed this incident should get in touch with Kent Police on 101 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
