Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of affray following a clash in Walderslade Road, Chatham

Two men arrested on suspicion of affray following violent scenes earlier this month have been released pending further inquiries.

Rival groups clashed in Walderslade Road, Chatham, on the evening of Friday, April 5.

A car crash spiralled into gangs chasing each other down the road holding weapons and a number of parked cars were damaged.

Charles 'Charley' Patrick, 30, and Jack Patrick, 22, both with links to the Weedswood estate, in Chatham, have already been charged with affray and possessing a hammer and baseball bat respectively and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court next month.

Now police have confirmed an 18-year-old man, from Rochester, and a 19-year-old man, from Chatham, were also arrested on suspicion of affray in the weeks after the incident.

Both have since been released pending further enquiries.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fracas.
