Man freed from car after crash

The driver of a Mini had to be freed from his car after it landed on its side in Ito Way, Gillingham last night.

Firefighters helped the man, in his 50s, out of his vehicle and paramedics checked him over.

The accident happened at about 8.30pm and no other car was involved.

The road was temporarily cordoned off at the Will Adams roundabout while emergency services dealt with the incident.
