Lorry and car collide at Four Elms Hill roundabout near Chattenden

Motorists in Strood suffered delays this evening after a crash between a lorry and a car.

The accident happened at about 3.45pm at the Four Elms roundabout which leads to the A228 and Chattenden.

The crash is on the Strood-bound carriageway and and traffic is queuing back the A289 to the Cliffe turn-off.

Traffic eventually returned to normal at around 5.30pm.
