Gillingham v Nottingham Forest

GILLINGHAM have a score to settle when Nottingham Forest visit Priestfield on Saturday.

The Gills suffered a 4-0 defeat at the City Ground in November and manager Mark Stimson will be hoping his side won’t be as easy push-overs this time around.

“We’ll approach it with the belief that we can win,” he said. “If you don’t win then you get a draw.

"Earlier on in the season Forest did spank us but Southend did the same at their place.

"This time we didn’t lie down and we kept going and got that little bit of luck that got us the equaliser and we’ll do the same on Saturday."

Gillingham will be without midfielder Stuart Thurgood as his straight red card in the match against Southend has earned him a three - game ban.

Left-back John Nutter will hope to make his first start for the club since signing from Stevenage, while striker Gary Mulligan will be keen to see some more action following a brief substitute appearance.

Defenders Ian Cox (thigh) and Efe Sodje (eye) remain injured. Kick-off on Saturday is at 3pm.
