Gills boss admits Jarvis slump

GILLINGHAM boss Ronnie Jepson has called on his squad to help Matt Jarvis through his loss of form.

The Gills have struggled to find the net in recent games after being one the division’s top goalscorers in the first half of the season and Jarvis has been unusually quiet in this period.

Jepson has admitted his star player is not on top of his game at the moment.

He said: "Matty Jarvis is a young boy and is going to have dips in form. When he’s having a bit of a blip other people should take responsibility.

"But I know he gives 110 per cent for the cause and he’s done fantastically well this season."
