The pictures show a grey Vauxhall Astra with its lights on underneath a blue JBS Haulage Contractors lorry on the side of the road.

A yellow hazard cone had been placed behind the two vehicles.

Sue said: "I have no information on how the car became wedged under there or when it happened.

"From what I could see the airbags had not gone off as I looked inside. How the driver got out is another mystery."

A police spokesman confirmed the incident was reported at 7am but patrols were not required to attend.

They added there were no injuries reported.

JBS Haulage Contractors declined to comment while the company works to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
