A man is due in court tomorrow charged with one count of dangerous driving after a woman was hit by a car on Friday.
Andrew Barfoot was arrested after the incident in Beechings Way, Gillingham, and will remain in custody until he appears at Medway Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The 29-year-old of Brabourne Avenue, Gillingham, has also been charged with one count of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
Emergency services were called just after 10am on Friday and the road was cordoned off for four hours while police carried out investigations at the scene.
The woman, who is believed to be in her 30s, was taken to hospital, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance service said she suffered injuries to her head, arms and legs, and was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
