Patience is a virtue Tommy Warrilow will have to exercise in his search for a new centre-forward this summer.

The Tonbridge Angels boss needs a replacement for top scorer Frannie Collin but he accepts a deal may not be done for a while.

Warrilow said: “The problem with any striker you want is that you’re not going to be the only club wanting him.

“We’ve got to be a little bit patient. There are a few options out there and I’m not panicking because someone will turn up.

“Mark Lovell and Mikel Suarez have signed but we do need an additional forward.

“I’m not going to start chasing round for the sake of it, he’s got to be right for us. Some lads are playing the waiting game.

"I’m waiting to speak to one lad over the weekend who’s not been available.”
