A NEW Tesco Express store is due to open in Maidstone, it has been announced.
Tesco says the store in Hermitage Walk, close to Maidstone Hospital, has created 20 new jobs under store manager Shane Fitzpatrick.
The shop is scheduled to open for business early in December and will trade from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week.
As well as groceries, it will sell newspapers and magazines, have a bakery, a cash machine and sell National Lottery tickets.
