Jane Pearce found safe after going missing following appointment at Maidstone Hospital.

An elderly woman who went missing after a hospital appointment has been found safe.

Jean Pearce left Maidstone Hospital at about 6pm last night following a physiotherapy appointment.

Her daughter Helen Pearce issued an appeal on Facebook and the police helicopter was launched to help with the search.

Ms Pearce told KentOnline this morning that her mother had been found safe and well and was 'now tucked up in bed after a quick hospital visit.'
