Thousands lined the River Medway on Saturday as Maidstone celebrated its River Festival.

One of the most popular features was the raft race. The fast race was won by Maidstone Canoe Club's HMS Thrust and the fun race by Trinity Trojans, a team from the Trinity Foyer, our charity of the year. A total of 15 rafts took part.

Musical highlights included the Rock and Roll Bandits - who played hits by Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley - and Pink Floyd tribute band, Just Floyd.
