Man and woman attacked while walking in Fremlin Walk shopping centre in Maidstone

A man and woman have been attacked while walking through a town centre shopping centre.

The pair were approached by a man in Fremlin Walk in Maidstone at around 4pm on Sunday, May 30.

After a short conversation, the assailant punched both the victims before walking away to a nearby coffee shop where he sat for a few minutes before leaving the area.

Both victims were left with bruises after the attack.

Police released details of the incident today and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that may assist the investigation to come forward.
