A TEENAGER arrested after the death of a father of three will not face charges.

The 17-year-old was questioned by police after scaffolding firm director Daniel Beames died in Maidstone Hospital two days after collapsing in the street after an incident near his home in Bell Shaw, Park Wood, Maidstone, on August 3.

He was released pending further investigations and ordered to return to Maidstone Police Station.

Now police have said the youth will not be charged in connection with the incident.

Jimmy Williams, 20, of Bicknor Road, Maidstone, has been charged with manslaughter and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court later this month.
