Helicopter search for stolen car in Maidstone

The police helicopter was scrambled this afternoon to help search for a stolen car.

The overhead team assisted officers on the ground in the Lenham area of Maidstone, after someone reported the theft at 12.15pm.

Patrols were unable to find the missing silver Toyota Hilux but a spokesman said the investigation is ongoing.
