Fuel leak from broken down dustcart causes delays on Tonbridge Road, Maidstone

A broken down dustcart caused delays heading into Maidstone town centre this morning.

The vehicle leaked fuel on the Tonbridge Road, close to Oakwood Park, and it took around three hours for the road to become fully clear.

Police were called at 7.55am and traffic was reported to be bad between Westree Road and All Angels Close.
