Five from Kent and East Sussex charged with hare coursing

Four men and a teenage boy have been charged with hare coursing.

Police arrested the group after being called to reports of people hunting with dogs in Barnham, Suffolk around 11am on Friday, July 31.

Tony Baker, 21, of Hailsham, East Sussex, Abraham Baker, 22, of Dartford, Tommylee Beaney, 18, of Stockbury, Obie Harber, 21, of Headcorn, have been charged.

A 16 year-old boy from the Ashford area, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was also arrested.

They have all been released on police bail before a hearing at West Suffolk Magistrates' Court on September 7.
