CCTV images released in hunt for school arsonists

Police hunting arsonists who caused £250,000 worth of damage at a school have released CCTV images.

A fire at New Line Learning Academy, in Boughton Lane, on February 27 destroyed mobile classrooms.

Police still hunting the culprits have today released the images in the hope of finding fresh witnesses.

Kent Fire and Rescue sent three engines to the blaze.

Officers are hoping the individuals in the images may be able to assist with their enquiries and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.

Det Con Clive Fowler investigating the incident said: “I would urge anyone with information or who recognises the individuals in the CCTV footage to contact police in Maidstone on 01622 690055 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
