Bus stop attack leaves 17-year-old with head injuries

A 17-year-old was left with a serious head injury after three men attacked him at a bus stop in Maidstone.

The unprovoked attack happened outside Morrisons supermarket in Sutton Road, Maidstone.

The men are believed to be between 16 and 18. One is around 5ft 6 with brownish hair combed forwards. The other two descriptions are vague as the victim was approached from behind.

Investigating officer, DC Laura Martin from Kent Police, said: "Although this is an isolated incident, it was an unprovoked attack, which resulted in the victim suffering a serious head injury.

"We are keen to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident, or anyone who can provide any information which leads to the identity of those responsible."

The incident happened between 10.30pm and 10.45pm on Saturday, August 20.
