DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a serious sexual assault on a girl of 15.

The attack took place in Plough Wents Road near Maidstone between 4pm and 5pm on July 16.

The victim, who lives in the Maidstone area, was pulled into a nearby field where the assault took place.

Det Con Clive Fowler said: “Plough Wents Road is a very busy area, particularly at the time this incident happened. Many people would have been travelling home from work or school.

"I would like to appeal to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious at Plough Wents Road on the evening of July 16 to come forward."
