Kelly Youga has become the third Charlton player this month to commit his long-term future to the club by signing a contract extension until 2011.

The 22-year-old left-back from Bangui in the Central African Republic returned to The Valley at the turn of the year rejuvenated after a loan spell at Scunthorpe and went on to make 13 appearances.

"We have high hopes for Kelly next season," said manager Alan Pardew.

He joins goalkeeper Rob Elliot from Newingon, near Sittingbourne, and left-back Grant Basey in signing new deals.

Elliot made his first team debut as a substitute in the 2-1 win at Plymouth on April 5.

Kent youngster Basey from Chislehurst has also been called into the Wales Under-21 squad.
