DIGGERS are arriving at Hartsdown Park this morning to finally begin work on building Margate's new stadium.

Having been bulldozed in 2001, the first task will be levelling off the land, which is currently six feet higher at one end of the pitch.

The club will kick off the new season in Thanet once work is completed by the end of July.
