Tigers recognised for work in the community

Swanscombe Tigers has been awarded the prestigious Kent Football Association Charter Standard Club of the Year award.

The award is in recognition of the work which the club does within the local community.

The club runs more than 20 teams including their ladies’ and girls’ teams, adult sides and a number of youth teams.

The club was formed in 1986 and prides itself on being part of the local community.

This approach has seen the club successful both on and off the pitch as the number of teams have grown.

Swanscombe Tigers now has aspirations to have its own site within the next two years. The club is working closely with the local council and developers to achieve this.
