Surrey Sabres v Kent Spitfires

SPITFIRES have added former England seamer Martin Saggers and young South African-born all-rounder Neil Dexter to their squad for Sunday's opening Friends Provident Trophy tie with Surrey at The Brit Oval.

Saggers, who is fully fit again after the heel and foot injuries that hampered him through much of 2006, comes in to replace Robbie Joseph, while Dexter replaces Min Patel in the squad on duty in the LV Championship match in Hove.

Throughout pre-season Saggers has shown good form with the white ball and was the obvious choice to replace rookie Joseph, and Dexter's athletic fielding prowess is clearly a bonus in the one-day game.

The match is scheduled to start at 10.45am and supporters travelling to The Oval by car are advised to leave early and take a route that will avoid London Marathon routes.

Kent from: Key, Jones, Denly, van Jaarsveld, Walker, Stevens, Dexter, McLaren, Arafat, Tredwell, Cook, Saggers, Tredwell.

* Mark Pennell's match report will appear here at the close of play on Sunday.
