Dover Athletic turned on the style in the second half at Crabble to beat Ramsgate 4-1 and maintain their four-point lead at the top of the table.

After falling behind to an early goal from Frannie Collin, Ramsgate battled back well and drew level through a 27th minute penalty from Mo Takaloo after Will Graham was brought down in the area by Alan Pouton.

But Andy Hessenthaler's side dominated the second half after they went back in front through a superb volley from Lee Browning.

Collin made it 3-1 soon after and then Pouton wrapped up the scoring from the penalty spot after Browning had been fouled by Warren Schulz.

After a poor start to the season, Dartford continued their revival by recording their third straight win, beating county rivals Maidstone United 2-1 at Bourne Park.

The opening goal came on 18 minutes after a short corner kick from Ryan Hayes which allowed Steve Butterworth to rifle home from the edge of the area.

Just four minutes later Rob Haworth made it two as he headed home Hayes’ cross.

Maidstone struck back on 30 minutes with a low shot from Ian Cox and while both teams had their chances in the second half but it was Dartford who came out worthy winners.

Tonbridge Angels and Margate played out a 0-0 draw at Hartsdown Park.

The shared points keeps Tonbridge sixth and Margate just ahead of the relegation places.
