Midweek Ryman League Premier Division round-up

Dover Athletic moved two points clear at the top of the table with a 2-0 win at Hendon.

Nicky Southall, making his debut after signing on a month's loan from Gillingham, set up Whites' opener for Shaun Welford in first-half stoppage time.

And then Welford played a big part in Dover's second goal shortly after the restart, sending in a cross which Frannie Collin converted.

Lloyd Blackman's first-half goal at Boreham Wood extended Maidstone United's incredible run of away form in Ryman League Premier Division.

The summer-arrival notched the only goal of the game against Boreham Wood in the 29th minute to extend the Stones' run to eight consecutive wins on the road, stretching back to last season.

The Stones consolidated fourth spot in the table with 16 points from their eight games, five points behind early leaders Dover.

Tonbridge's return to form continued with a hard-fought 3-2 win in an entertaining clash with Billericay at Longmead.

The Angels raced into a two-goal lead when Fraser Logan's excellent service from the flank first forced an own-goal and then allowed Jamie Cade to notch his second goal in as many games after his weekend winner at Maidstone.

The Essex side fought-back to level before the break but in the second half Lewes loan signing Chamal Fenelon was brought down by the visiting keeper and fit-again Carl Rook's despatched the penalty to seal the points.

Dartford needed a 90th minute equaliser from substitute James White to earn a 1-1 draw against Heybridge in a game of missed chances for Tony Burman’s side.

Heybridge had taken a 63rd minute lead but Steve Butterworth and Ryan Hayes both hit the woodwork and Jamie Coyle had a 50th-minute penalty saved.

Defender Nick Davis earned Ramsgate their first home league point of the season with a 90th minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw against Horsham at Southwood.

Evan Archibald put the visitors ahead after 13 minutes, before Ben Laslett levelled eight minutes later.

Lee Carey added Horsham's second eight minutes before half-time, but Ramsgate were a much improved side in the second half, and got their rewards when Davis pounced on the stroke of full-time.

Margate travelled home from South London disappointed at not getting at least a point from their league trip to Tooting & Mitcham which they lost 2-1.

They were convinced Wayne Wilson's second half effort, ruled out by the referee, should have stood.

Former Gate defender Romauld Bouadji headed the newly-promoted home team in front as early as the third minute, before Ryan Peters direct free-kick levelled the scores 13 minutes later.

However Jamie Byatt's excellent strike put Tooting in front on the stroke of half-time, and Margate's unfortunate night was completed when youngster Jack Parkinson was sent-off for dissent.
