GRAVESHAM pool ace Tony Bowles has been honoured for making his 500th appearance for the Kent side.

Bowles, who started playing for his county back in 1991, received his trophy from Kent chairman Martyn Collins and team manager Les Boddy at the Chatham Pool & Snooker Club.

Tony still plays pool for the Bat & Ball, the Premier League champions in the Gravesham Pool League, and was the first ever Kent player to represent England.
