Kent have allayed fears that Martin van Jaarsveld will miss the start of the new season after suffering an injury scare playing in South Africa.
The 34-year-old vice-captain dislocated his shoulder fielding for Titans against Eagles in a Twenty20 game 11 days ago, but has seen a specialist who has given him the all-clear.
Van Jaarsveld is expected back in Canterbury to start pre-season training with the rest of the squad on Monday, March 23.
Kent chief executive Paul Millman said "Martin's fine and has been given the go-ahead to begin his rehab."
