GILLINGHAM manager Ronnie Jepson remains interested in striker David Graham despite the striker not featuring in Tuesday night's 4-2 friendly win over Colchester.

Jepson has approached Graham's current club Sheffield Wednesday about the availability of the 28-year-old and is now awaiting a response from the Championship side.

Jepson said: "Sometimes you have to be a bit patient and wait and that's what we're having to do with David Graham.

"I've spoken to David and his representatives but he still has 12 months on his contract at Wednesday. He's still their player so we'll have to see how things develop."
