Gillingham v Plymouth

GILLINGHAM return to league action with a home game against Plymouth on Saturday and manager Stan Ternent wants to have added to his squad by then.

Barry Ashby has joined the lengthy casualty list with an arm injury picked up after a collision with Yakubu during the FA Cup defeat against Portsmouth at the weekend and Ternent is in desperate need of replacements.

He said: "I’d like to bring two or three players in on loan but at this stage of the season most teams are reluctant to let players go.

"I need to get some experienced players in as opposed to young lads. Hopefully, we’ll have someone in before the Plymouth game."
